Handcrafted Vintage Art-Deco Style Modernist Silver Bracelet and Earring Set.

Modernist, Danish influence:

This wonderful piece has no hallmarks to determine the exact origin or maker. The bracelet is not hallmarked and the silver content is unknown as it has not been tested. The bracelet has been polished and cleaned up as silver. It was was badly tarnish and it was felt that the bracelet details would show up better polished.

The bracelet motif is representative of the art deco period with its bold geometric circle/square presentation. The detailed embossed laurel leaf and floral designs theme are characteristic of this era. Although the bracelet is very representative of this period it is my belief that the bracelet falls in the Circa: 1940-1950.

Measurement: Bracelet Length: 7 Inches, 1" x 1" Square connecting links with laurel leaf circle; Earrings are pierced. Laurel Leaf design: 3/4" Round x 1" L

Art-Deco Period: (1920-1935) Jewelry produced at this time exhibited a geometric and structural appearance and was characterized by geometric, cubic and abstract forms and motifs, fine handicraft and the use of precious metals. The focus was on the visual design and in the form. quality in the design and workmanship.
