This unique hand-carved figural continental pipe depicting a Monkey holding an apple. The monkey is resting in the palm of a hand which becomes the base for the stem. The wood may be ebony or mahogany, but not sure. The stem is cherry wood with brass mouth piece. Tip broken. Continental origin. Unmarked. Measurement: 5-1/2" L x 3-1/2" W x 1-1/2" Depth. Stem: 7-1/2" L.
