Vintage Petit Point Purse with Asian Scene and Jewel Frame

This gorgeous bag is in remarkable condition as if it has never been used. The tiny floral petit point design borders an Asian scene with a bridge crossing a river with plants and a single boat. The design is the same on both sides of the handbag. All stitching is amazingly clean and intact. The embossed shiny gold frame has 6 small round ruby red prong set cabochons, and the flip clasp has an incredible large clear oval cabochon in the same rich red. The brass clasp functions smoothly, and the shiny gold chain link wrist strap is also intact. Inside, the beige silk lining shows no sign of wear, and only 1 tiny smudge on one side. There is one open top slot pocket, and a tag that reads Made in France. This darling pocketbook measures 7 inches in width and 6 inches in height.
