This simple elongated purse is absolutely fabulous! Dress it up, dress it down... it is ready to go anywhere with any outfit. The vintage bag is made with soft flexible material in a rich chocolate brown. The outer bag has a faint leather smell, yet feels like supple vinyl. The leather has a light grained appearance, and is very smooth to touch. It is in excellent condition without scratches, tears or thinning areas. There are no signs of wear on this lovely pocketbook; even the corners, seams and sides are in perfect condition. The gold toned frame is shiny and intact, too. The kiss snap closure remains tight and functions easily. The short brown leather wrist strap attached to the frame easily tucks into the handbag to instantly convert it into a stylish clutch. Inside, the purse is remarkably clean. The black twill lining looks brand new. The fabric is immaculate and intact without discoloration, stains, tears or loose threads. One of the inner walls of the bag has not one... but 2 darling attached change purses! Both coin holders are the same size, and made in the same black twill fabric that lines the inner purse. Both kiss snap closures are intact for the change purses, and the inner sections are amazingly clean. The other side of the inner bag is marked HL U.S.A. in gold gilt letters. Length of this vintage beauty measures 13 inches across the bottom, while the top frame measures 11 inches across in length. Height of the bag measures 6 inches, including the small snap closure. The convertible wrist strap measures 10 inches in total length, and arcs 3 inches above the frame of the purse. This wonderful vintage bag is in excellent condition as if it has never been used.
