Vintage Coblentz Leather Kelly Bag with Original Hang Tag

This fabulous neutral colored purse has never been used! Complete with original tag and mirror, this caramel colored leather bag is in great condition. The outer leather of the handbag is a warm, rich beige-brown that is sure to match and blend with everything in your wardrobe. The leather is smooth and intact with very few surface scratches. There are signs of light wear to the bottom corners of the purse. Since these areas act as 'feet' for the bag, it is not surprising to find a bit of wear. The integrity and clean structure of the purse are not affected. There is a tiny area on the upper left corner of the front of the purse with a nick in the leather, and on close inspection tiny cracks are noted to the underside of the leather strap handle. The gold toned hardware is shiny with a wonderful deep patina. The snap top closure functions perfectly. Inside, this purse is amazingly clean. The green fabric lining is intact without tears, stains or loose threads. There are multiple compartments and pockets in this retro beauty, including a snap closure middle section and a zippered side pocket. Inside one of the open top slot pockets is the original mirror that came with the purse. The mirror is in slightly rough shape, and has come unglued from the tortoise shell back. The mirror measures 3 1/2 inches in length and 3 inches in height. Coblentz Original is clearly marked in gold gilt letters above the side pockets, and the zipper still has its original hang tag! The tag reads Coblentz Original on one side of the shiny gold circle, while the other side reads Genuine Steer Leather Rainspot Resistant. This large and roomy Kelly style bag has a slight trapezoid shape, and measures 10 1/2 inches across the bottom length. Length along the top frame of the purse measures 9 1/2 inches, and height measures 9 1/2 inches, without the leather handle. This strap measures 16 inches in length, and arcs 6 1/2 inches above the top frame. Bottom side width for this lovely bag measures 3 1/2 inches. Overall, this fabulous vintage designer handbag is in wonderful condition. It has never been used, as if it has been waiting all these years just for you.
