The material of this fabulous handbag feels and shines like the finest leather... yet is labeled Man Made Material inside the bag under the gilded gold Koret signature with leaping antelope. The outer faux black leather is in great condition, and remains soft and supple. The front of the purse shows no flaws, and the back of the purse shows a few light scratches if you know to look for them. There are no nicks, tears or signs of wear in the material. The corners and bottom of the bag are perfectly intact. The envelope style body of the bag has a shiny gold accent bar across the bottom. The gold metal is shiny, intact and scratch free. The fold over flap has a snap closure which functions perfectly. Inside, this purse is remarkably clean. Faux black leather also lines the interior of the purse. This lining is in excellent condition. The front zippered side pocket is lined in bright fabric which resembles a rainbow. The fabric is wonderfully clean and intact. The back side pocket is open at the top and lined in clean gold twill fabric. Below this pocket and the Koret signature is the original store sticker from Stacy's in Chicago. There is a fine gold link chain attached to the inner left side of the purse, indicating that this vintage beauty probably once had its own change purse. The gold grommets that accommodate the adjustable chain are intact without signs of wear. The heavy gold chain strap is held in place by T bars, and is easily removed to convert this shoulder bag into an adorable envelope clutch purse. The chain strap handle measures 31 inches in total length. Depth of the bag measures 5 inches. Length measures 10 inches across the bottom, and height measures 6 1/2 inches.
