Antique Oval Glass Dome and Original Base, circa 1850's. At one time this probably covered an ornate antique skeleton clock or some other beautiful French clock. The glass has age bubbles and is in great condition. The bottom is rough with some small chips, which is typical of glass this age. The base is original to the glass. Look closely at the pictures and you can see the writing on the bottom of the base that is written in French.
