This clock has an unusual movement. It has a single hour chime and "bim-bam-bong" every quarter hour, striking on slanted rods. 2-Spring, 8-day wind. Dial and pendulum have age appropriate pitting, the numbers and chapter ring are in good condition. The glass is thick and beveled in great original condition. The case is oak with nice heavy carving on top and door sides. This movement has been professionally restored, pivots polished, bushings where necessary.
