This is a beautiful Vase in a very simple style. This is one of Meissen's Modernist Style Pieces. It is stunning with its embossed raised dots or circles between what looks like two C's back to back. This pattern is on the top portion. It is the only design on this piece. It is marked with the Blue Crossed swords under the glaze on the side near the bottom. . Beside the Swords are two incised lines. The bottom is marked with numbers 50185 incised under the glaze. Then there is what looks like 16 K or 16 F. this is also incised under the glaze. Then written is Weifs, the Designer's name. This is under the glaze. Above this name is crossed swords incised under the glaze. lastly it says in blue Focke & Meltzer Amsterdam. This Vase was made for this very high end Retail store. Focke & Meltzer is compared to Harrod's of London. They were one of the finest retailers in Europe. They did business in the mid to late 19th Century. I am not sure if they are still going. The Vase stands almost 8" tall. It is a bit over 3" across at it's widest part. It is in absolute Mint condition. It has two incised lines seperate and to the left of the crossed swords. Usually incised lines are over the mark and indicate the piece is a second. I can find nothing I can find no damage at all. . Please ask any questions.
