I believe this is Silver Plate since I cant find a mark other than the date of 1928 and a R with a circle around it. There is no monogram on either side. The repousse work is very beautiful florals. Maybe Poppies?? There is a teeney sliver of glass missing near the edge of the mirror. It is under the glass, not thru the glass. You cant feel it since its actually underneath the top layer of glass. It is very pretty and I think you would be delighted to add it to a collection or actually use it. It measures almost 3" by 3". The Compact is quite heavy it weighs about 4.5 ounces. Please ask any questions.
