This is one of the few Hand Painted Brush Stroke pieces. I would say it dates to 1845 to mid 1800's. . These pieces are usually unmarked. You can find the pattern in Fascinating Flow Blue by Schiffer. This pattern is very hard to find even in the books. The plate has big deep blue Morning Glory Flowers with Green sprigs and strawberries. There are also large leaves. All of it is has gold gilt. The strawberries are pretty worn. this is very very typical of the strawberry pattern since it is hand painted. This plate bleeds the blue thru to the back very heavily. It is a beauty. This plate is 8 1/2" across. It has fourteen panels to the rim. It also bears stilt marks on the front side, three of them. The back side has three sets of three stilt marks. Stilt marks could signify that it dates as far back as the 1850's. This plate is unmarked. The condition is XLNT. No chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. I also have a matching Cup listed, The old kind without handles. The cup has twelve panels. Please ask any questions.
