This appear's to be a JPSV mark with crossed pitch forks. The pattern is very recognizable from the RS Prussia Books. This same pattern was used by limoges as well as RS Prussia. The manufacturer was Johann Seltman. The factory was in Porzellun Vohenstrauss, Bavaria. The mark is green and rather smeared.. It is very hard to read. This mark dates to Ca. 1901. This pattern can be found in "The Collector's Encyclopedia of RS Prussia". Book #2. On page 181, it is plate 533. The Plate shown in the book is quite ornate and the value is set at $1,600.00 to $1,800.00. The Scene is referred to as "Semi Nude Woman". This Plate is in Xlnt condition. No chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. There is a tinier than a flea bite indent in the gold rim. This Plate is handled. It is a Serving Plate or Cake Plate. It measures a tad under 10". The Pattern is that of a lovely Semi Nude Woman climbing a rock among beautiful wild flowers and bushes. The second scene are two White Swans swimming peacefully. The third scene is of a White Castle like building in the background.. It is done in the shadow effect. So this Plate appears to have a triple scene, Nude Woman, White Swans, and a White Castle. Please ask any questions.
