This is a beautiful Vase in a very simple style. This is one of Meissen's Modernist Style Pieces. It is stunning with its embossed raised dots or circles between what looks like two C's back to back. This pattern is on the top portion. It is the only design on this piece. It is marked with the Blue Crossed swords under the glaze on the side near the bottom. . The Pattern on this Tea Pot is very much like the Blue Onion but there are no Onions (or Peaches which they really were but factory workers thought they were Onions). This is a marked Tea Pot or Coffee Pot of Blue Crossed Swords with a V on the end of the Swords, there also is a letter in that space. Could be a R. I love blue and white so this is my favorite pattern of flowers and insect's by Meissen. It is a large Gravy. It measures 10 1/2" long by 6 3/4" not counting the handle's.There is nothing like Meissen. I have several pieces but I am no expert. This pattern dates to Ca. 1766 to as late as 1780. This is a beauty and there are no nips, flea bites, hairlines, or restorations. It is done in the popular color's of blue and white. The decor is flower's and insect's. Which I know is an older Meissen. It is Pre 1800's. The cup has the blue under glaze crossed swords with a insized #1. There is also a blue under glaze mark near the bottom edge.
