This is such a pretty little thing in an of itself, but once opened, there were further surprises to discover. Offered is a satin handkerchief bag or holder in a lovely spice color of curry and embroidered with dainty flowers in pink and green. Inside were hidden nine different vintage hankies and a piece of lace. Two of the hankies are silk with wide lace edges--one of these features the American and French flags and the logo "Souvenir de France." The others are white background: white with blue flower embroidery, "H" scrolled in gold color, "H" with yellow daffodil, white work embroidery, lace with applied flower, red heart and flowers, red & yellow flowers. The piece of lace is 2 1/4" wide and 35" long. The holder is 7x5 folded and 7x10 opened. It closes with ribbon ties. I find no stains nor tears.
