This is such a lovely set and its famous name marks could not recommend it more highly. The Pickard China Company produced this cream and sugar and matching tray. It is also carries a mark for R S. Germany (green wreathed). I have not been able to identify this design, but it carries a Jacobean flavor. A central bouquet of pink mums, blue iris and orange and yellow, blue flowers add interest. Little purple, orange, and pink sprays are encircled by greenery. The rims are gold tone painted in almost a pewter look. The gold Pickard stamp is from the years 1930-38. The concave handled tray is 10x 5 3/4". The sugar is 2 1/4" in circumference, 2 3/4" high and 2" at the base. The creamer is 2 3/4" high and 1 3/4" at the base. This set is in perfect condition--there are no chips, no fractures, no crazing.
