SALE! 30%OFF! This is obviously not an original copy of Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, but from all appearances, it is an older copy. This was originally a Christmas present to a student as the front page carries in faded calligraphy: "Merry Christmas Your Teacher Emma Bowen." This is heavy stock in cream color with the pages tied with a pink ribbon. The 31 pages are covered with the text and black and white block (?) prints. It is published by the David C. Cook Publishing Company 36 Washington St. Chicago. I cannot find a date, but from the calligraphy, I am guessing prior to WWII, possibly turn of the century. The David C. Cook company started in the late 1880's and is still publishing today. It appears it publishes religious booklets. This booklet measures 6 1/2 x 9. There is wear on the front and back pages, the inside pages are quite good.
