Here is a sweet 5" painted bisque gal on a five piece compo body. She has her original brown mohair wig, blue glass sleep eyes and closed mouth. Her face paint is bright with no rubs. Her neck is wobbley though so stringing need tightening. She has painted on black heeled shoes and white socks. She is marked on the back of her head, Germany 16/0. Some of the paint underneath the wig has lifted off but is not seen unless you look for it. She wears a black multicolor stripped cotton dress trimmed with faux pearls and white lace. she has an attached off-white half petticoat. She comes along with her vintage wooden chair to sit her in. I see no cracks, chips or other damage to the head or the body. I don't know what type of compo the body is made of. Its shiney and feels almost like plastic. I have had one other doll with this type of body and she was authentic. So this body is evidently the way some bodies of her era were made. She sure is a cutie. The clothes are sewn on so I can't examine her body under it. The chair is approx. 5 1/2" high, 3" across and 2 3/4" deep. the chair has a woven straw seat.
