Vintage Wax Grandma Doll Holding Small Child in Velvet Chair

Here is an unusual pair of dolls. There is a 10" Grandma holding a 5 1/2" baby. Both dolls have wax heads on cloth bodies. The baby also has was arms. The grandma is sitting in a high backed burgundy velvet lined chair. There is a crocheted doily at the top of the chair where the head would rest against. The grandma wears a Victorian style cotton dress of nacy blue with red and yellow circular print, lace teim at hem and, cuffs of sleeves and on bodice. She has a pink dickie with a tiny faux cameo at the neck. Grandma also has an off white full petticoat and pantaloons to match. The baby wearsan off white dress with eyelet like lace at the scalloped hem and at cuffs of sleeves. There are little embroidered flowers on the skirt. She has pink ribbons on each sleeve and has a petticoat and pantaloons to match. The dolls have no damage. The chair, which measures approx. 10" high, 4" wide and 3" deep. It has a small squareish tear on the bottom that looks as if the base of the chair might have been stuffed with something at one point. This set may be from the 1950s to resemble dolls in the Victorian era. Really unusual.
