Huge Vintage Chinese Watercolor Landscape in Beautiful Original Frame

The artist of this traditional Chinese watercolor borrowed from the styles of the masters like Wang Yuanqi, Wang Meng, Lan Ying, Guo Xi. I've been told it is not a master painting, but one that plucks its themes and then winks at us with the inscription.

As translated, the inscriptions says something like, "painted in autumn of jichen year at Yunlin mountain hall, Wang Yuanqi". I thank the Asian Art forum for providing information I would not have been able to obtain on my own.

So the artist remains a mystery, though judging by the framing, it was framed around the 1950's. This is an overall high quality painting by a Chinese artist, and not mass produced.

FINE - no flaws detected. A few surface scratches on the frame as shown
