Tomoe Yokoi b1942 -
Born in Nagoya, Japan, Yokoi attended art school Bunka-Gakuin, in Tokyo. In 1964, she studied intaglio printmaking with S. W. Hayter in Paris. She moved to NYC in 1971, and started making a name for herself having perfected her mezzotint skills.
Yokoi has had major exhibitions and showings at Saper Galleries, Norwegian International Print Biennial, Oslo, Paris International Print Biennial, 52nd SAGA National Print Exhibition, NY, IKI International Art Fair, Desseldorf, 4th British Intern, Print Biennial, Bradford, Ljubljana Intern. Print Biennial, Yugoslavia.
Yokoi's prints are displayed at the National Gallery, Oslo; the Musee d'Art Moderne, Paris; the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris; Brooklyn Museum, NY, the New York Public Library, the Free Library, Phila, Cleveland Museum of Art, and in many private collections.

DETAILS
Mezzotint titled, signed and numbered in pencil by the artist 11/75. Silver tone metal frame, silk mat.
Measures 19 1/2" x 22 1/2" w/frame; print is 18" x 22", w/mat 19" x 22".
CONDITION
FINE - mat burn as shown in photo, and slight waviness of the paper - otherwise in great shape. Frame is sturdy and in great condition.
Package will be shipped via UPS, insurance included in shipping. Package weighs 10 lbs w/frame. I can ship without the frame if you do not want it.
International shipping via Priority - will not ship frame.
