Customer satisfaction is my top priority. I want you to be happy with the transaction & fully enjoy the treasures you find here in "Marmee's Attic". I assure friendly & prompt interactions, with responses to all inquiries in a timely manner. All items are well-researched & guarantied authentic antiques, unless otherwise noted. Being that items here are antiques, buyers should expect items to be in “used” condition. All flaws & imperfections will be described & well photographed. Buyers should expect to receive items in “as described” or “better than described” condition! Until sale & delivery to the new owner, all listed items are boxed and stored in a dry, clean & smoke free environment.
 
Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling & insurance. All items are packed carefully, double boxed when necessary & shipping insurance is required. Items will be packed with new & some clean-recycled packing materials to keep down the cost of shipping & handling.

Restocking Fee:
Our shop does not charge a restocking fee. Layaways are subject to a Layaway Agreement and have their own Terms of Sale.

Other Information:
PURCHASING:
When selecting an item for purchase, the item is listed as "sale pending". Therefore, no other interested buyers may purchase the item- it will be HELD for you. Therefore, payments are expected in a timely manner; within 3 days for PayPal purchases & within 7 days for cashier check, money order or personal checks. After this time frame has lapsed, if no payment has been received or if the buyer has not contacted us to make alternate arrangements, the item will be returned to inventory without notice.

Please be aware that items are NOT on hold when questions are being volleyed with proprietor. We always do our best to reply quickly to inquiries- though at times hours may lapse. There is always a possibility that someone else can select the item for purchase during that time. In this event-the item will be sold to the person selecting it for purchase.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
Payment should be made using International Money Order in U.S. Funds or PayPal payments for PayPal approved countries. Please contact us regarding length of time necessary to receive payment-based on where you live. All Customs forms will be accurate & factual, please do not ask for information to be altered. International buyers are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or other charges against their purchases by the country to which the items is being shipped. Please be aware of your countries rules regarding these charges before purchase.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Negotiated prices on items are considered "final sale" & discounted price quotes are good for 24 hours only~ items will return to their list price after this time has lapsed without purchase.

If you have any questions about items listed, please email us prior to submitting your purchase order.

A $35.00 fee will be assessed for returned checks or special handling due to insufficient funds or stopped payments.

Layaway is available on most items~ please inquire and a copy of the policy can be sent to you. Details of layaway agreements will vary by item.

Shipping costs are not refunded on returns unless a significant descriptive error was made.

In the event that items are damaged during shipment, please save ALL packing materials & box. The post office requires all shipping materials be saved for claim submission. Without the materials being presented, the insurance claim will be invalid & money will not be refunded. Marmee's Attic will not be responsible for unpaid insurance claims after items have left our hands.
