Elizabeth Taylor Forever Violet Purple Beaded Necklace, 18" in length and in like new condition. The rich hues and brilliant sparkle of the amethysts Elizabeth Taylor collects are captured in the intricately worked necklace. Eight strands of amethyst-toned glass beads are held by a clasp that combines crystal blossoms with rhinestone centers, tourmaline-green leaves and dramatic faux pearl cabochons set in latticed goldtone. This necklace came in a size large and small. This is the small length at 18". This comes with all original packaging...purple box, box sleeve, purple tissue and foam insert, and a purple flannel bag with drawstring to store your treasure. Copy of original ad included.

This item was produced in 1994. Avon jewelry authority and author Sandra Sturdivant, in her book “Identifying AVON JEWELRY”, lists this necklace as “8 strands of amethyst glass beads held by a clasp that combines crystal violets, tourmaline-green leaves and pearl cabochon’s set in latticed gold.” Not yet vintage but very collectible!
