Unique Mexican Silver Funnel

Unique Mexican Silver Perfume Funnel. The APF Hallmark is believed to be produced between 1948 and 1979, although the maker that this mark belongs to is still in question by many. This unique piece is interesting but is not as finely made as other APF pieces. There is a small handle on the funnel that could allow this piece to be worn as a pendant. There is a small hole in the top of the funnel and the piece shows some wear.

The full marking, located on the inside of the funnel, reads “Taxco Mexico 925” circled around “APF”. There is also a Eagle 3 Stamp next to the makers mark. It measures 1 3/8” from funnel to tip. Funnel measures ¾” wide.

We think that this particular piece could be an early or experimental work of the artist. Quite possibly a one-of-a-kind piece.
