Dominique Large Multi-Color Butterfly Brooch

This wonderful brooch is absolutely stunning. Measuring 4 ½” high by 4” wide it is a real eye catcher. The wings have 10 marquis stones in red, royal blue, amethyst and peridot in color. There are 8 smaller stone 2 royal blue and 6 amethysts in the wings. The body of the butterfly is royal blue with 12 marquis stones, 3 round or chaton and one kite shaped stone. The setting is gold plated and it is signed on the lower part of each wing. This would be a great piece for a collector or to be worn on a suit or coat. Dominic DeTora, aka. Dominique, is 84 years young. In his earlier years he designed pieces for Weiss, Eisenberg and others. He makes each piece by hand and all the stones are hand set using only the finest crystal and rhinestones he has acquired over his years in the business. Dominic takes great pride in the quality and the workmanship of his pieces. Rarely will you find many pieces exactly the same as he likes to change colors and shapes of stones in similar pieces. He uses many stones in his pieces that are no longer available today, one of them is the Kite stone in this butterfly. This piece will only increase in value over the years. It is truly a beautiful brooch.
