This set of 49 Whimsies was produced from 1953 – 1959. They were issued in set of 5 animals with the exception on set #10 which only has 4. The odd # set #1,3,5,7,9 were made in England by the George Wade and Son Ltd. and the even numbered sets were made by Wade (Ireland) Ltd.. The Piglet from set #10 was made in 1959 it measures 7/8” high by 1 1/2” overall. It is unmarked. It is in the first World of Wade Book It’s number is 159-45. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks.
