The set of Nursery Favorites was a retail giftware line. This line of handpainted underglaze figurines was produced from 1972 until 1981. There are 20 different characters in the set. They were issued in four sets of five. Each set having its own distinctive colored box. This listing is for King Cole, which measures 2 ½” high. He is dressed in a tan/blue robe and hat, has tan hair and is holding a pipe in his right hands. He is marked Wade England on the back of his base. He is from set 2 issued in 1973.
