This lovely oval brooch has the likeness of an adorable little cat on a porcelain-type oval. There are many details which give this kitty a very realistic look. The colors are shades of brown, gray and white on a white background with just a hint of peach. The pin measures about 1 1/2" from top to bottom and 1 1/8" across. The oval is surrounded by gold-tone metal half loops. The back is gold-tone. The pin has a safety lock. There are no identifying marks. I can see no damages - no chips, crazing, breaks or repairs. Although this pin appears never to have been worn, it is from an estate and is 30-40 years old.
