Our Service Pledge To You:
I guarantee that I will never charge a handling fee in shipping costs. I will only charge what it actually costs. I sometimes do estimate a shipping amount. If I have estimated too high by over a $, and you have already paid, I will refund the difference, rounded off to the nearest $ without going under the cost.. If I have estimated too low, and you have already paid, I will simply eat the difference.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Shipping will be determined as soon as I know your address. With money orders, and Pay Pal, I ship within 48 hours of receipt, with personal checks I wait up to 14 days to ship. For most small items and items worth under $200.00 I usually use priority mail, for larger and more expensive items I reserve the right to ship UPS. Attention furniture and large item buyers. Freight shipping is VERY EXPENSIVE so take that into account when you order or make an offer on a piece of furniture. Just for example....to ship a rocking chair to Pennsylvania was $89.00 for the packaging fee as a special double layer cardboard box had to be built for it, and the freight was another $190.00. I will sell to anyone anywhere in the world, but foreign buyers, must be able to pay through PayPal. Exceptions may be made as to international money orders at my discretion. All items must be insured. I will ship no item without insurance unless all rights to a refund from myself are waived by the buyer. If for any reason an item is damaged in shipping and the shipping insurer refuses to pay, the buyer has 48 hours from the time they get the item back from the shipper to send it back to me. I mark all items with a personal identifying mark in order to prevent replacement scam. Upon receipt of the item and the identification of that mark, I will refund the full purchase price including shipping. Please understand that shipping will only be refunded in this situation: that I was negligent in not packing the item safely, thus incurring damage to the item. People who are simply asking for a refund because for some reason they don't want the item any more, do not get any shipping refunded according to Ruby Lane policy, just a full refund of the purchase price less my 10% restocking fee. .

Restocking Fee:
We charge a 10% restocking fee on all items returned.This is subject to reduction based upon the circumstances.

Other Information:
Sales tax of 5 1/2% must be added if the buyer is from Wisconsin. If you are a buyer from a different country, I would prefer that you use Pay Pal or an international money order.
