1931 Rewritten Rolf Armstrong Illustrated Calander

This is a 1931 complete calander from Blue Barron amusements of Oshkosh Wi. At first this calander really had me confused because the address has a zip code and the phone number has a area code, but unheard of in 1931. The outside edges of the calender shows water stains and sun fadeing and there is a worn area where the first colored layer of paper has been torn off of the cardboard, on the outside edge, close to the middle of the calander. All of the corners are also worn and there are signs of bending at the top left. When I looked more closely, I saw that this calander and possibly others from other years were remade at a later date, I believe sometime in the 1970's, and many of the days have descriptions of what either happened that date or would happen sometime in the future than that date. For example: Jan 20 says 'This day will be established as inaugauration day in six years, 1937' and Jan 30 says 'The Lone Ranger radio program will be broadcast in two years, 1933' I hate to call this a reproduction because it was not made necessarily to fool, but to be given as a birthday present to someone that was perhaps born in 1931 to give them perspective just as the year birthday cards do today. Rolf Armstrong was a famous illustrater known for his colorful women with the beautiful, deeply defined faces. They were always in what I would call, dramatic evening make up.
