This is a marked Bradley and Hubbard Double Wall Bracket with two matching oil lamps. This appears to be a marriage, as the two lamp holders are not of the same design and only one is marked Bradley and Hubbard. The milk glass part of the shade is marked BB Schneider Illuminitor Pat Oct 3,76 and it also says REIS AP'L 11th, 1882 B SUN. The turn knob on the lamps say Bridger.....Lincoln. The reflectors are maked ACME although one is 3/8" smaller in diameter than the other one. One of the bottoms of the frosted oil lamps is very badly chipped all of the way around. However I felt that it was important to put this up for sale because it is so hard to find a complete double lamp like this and it is as it came out of its Victorian home, right off of the wall. The Bradley and Hubbard bracket shows a patent date of June 7, 1881. The wall attachment, the part that is screwed into the wall, so that the lamp holders can slide into it, is cracked, but not so as to structurally damage the piece and make it unsafe to use. One of the white lamp shade parts is chipped. , there is a hole in one of the lamp bowl caps, one of the glass chimney's has a chip, there is some staining or discolorization in sections of the glass or in other words, this baby is showing its age in a multitude of ways. I have many more photographs than what I show, just ask for them. In 20 years, this is the first complete double bracket lamp like this that I have ever seen with the exception of reference books. Please feel free to ask questions. Because of the number of pieces making up this item, it is impossible for me to exactly be right in the shipping amount. What I will tell you is that if my estimate is over the actual amount, I will charge the lower amount and if my estimate is under the actual amount, I will only charge 1/2 of the difference between the listed estimate and the actual amount. I charge no handling fees. Happy Collecting!!!! .
