SOLD Meridan Pickle Castor with Matching Tongs

Silver : Antique : Quad Plate Pickle Casters

 

This is a quadruple silver plate, marked Meridan, pickle caster with matching pickle tongs and a clear crystal pattern glass insert. It measures 10 1/8" tall and 5" wide. The crystal insert measures 3" in diameter and 4" tall. The pattern name for the crystal insert is zipper borders. This dates from about 1900 and each part is original to the piece. So many pickle casters these days are put-togethers. There are no chips, cracks, dings or other damage. Happy Collecting!!!!!!!
