This is the hard cover Harper's Weekly, vol 54-2 from July 2, -Dec 31, 1910. The book measures 16 1/8" tall, 11 5/8" wide and 1 7/8" thick. It consists of each weekly magazine published from July 2 through Dec 31, 1910 and each magazine is paginated, but it is not numbered from front to back like some bound magazines are. I have found one torn page which is page 5 and 6 in the December 31 section. The entire book is bound nice and tight and I see no soiling, bent pages or foxing or scribbling of any kind. The cover is also in very good condition for its age. There is wear in the usual places, the ends of the spine and the corners which are bent inwards, but it is not bad, but only minor wear. There are great full page illustrations by important illustrators of the time, many double page ads and wonderful full page political jokes and satire. World War One started in 1914 but already there are indications of unrest which show up in some of the jokes, etc. Many of these books were torn apart by dealers to sell the individual illustrations, ads and jokes, thus making complete ones in good condition harder and harder to find. Happy Collecting!!!
