This is a Victorian era pin with an amber colored crystal set in what I believe to be sterling. They did not always mark sterling in the 1800's. The pin measures 1 5/16" wide by 1 3/8" long. There is no damage but the stone has a spot that may have been chipped and was filed smooth. You can see the file marks. This is only noticeable at close inspection. Happy Collecting!!!!!
