Homer Laughlin Fiesta Amberstone Large Round Platter

This is the Homer Laughlin Fiesta line of Sheffield Amberstone that was first issued in 1967. Most of it was unmarked but large plates will be marked 'Sheffield' inside of a rectangle with the Homer Laughlin logo and then 'AMBERSTONE' and 'MADE IN U.S.A.'. This is the large round platter that was used as a tid bit or handled serving tray. It is marked. This one has the hole drilled out in the center, but no handle. One would have to find a broken tid bit with a handle and just switch as they were universal. The plate measures just over 12" in diameter and 1 1/4" deep. It is in wonderful condition other than missing the handle and has no chips, cracks, dings or dongs or other damage. Happy Collecting.
