This is a huge dye cut litho of a lady from a calendar top. It is nice and bright, not sun faded at all and probably dates from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It ia 18 5/8" tall and 10 7/16" wide. The embossed litho is of a lady in a red hat surrounded by violets with a fan in the background above her head. There is a bend and a tear in the piece by the lowest part of the fan handle, and a tear at the lowest part of the red hat on the other side. It also looks like there are parts missing at the very top center and to your right as you are facing the litho. There is also a horizontal crack in the red hat on that side about 6 1/4" down from the top that goes in about 1 3/8". Still, this is a beautiful piece and deserves to be framed, perhaps made into a collage of some sort. I can see adding a pair of lace gloves, and other bits and pieces from that era. It is marked 'Printed in Germany' but has no year. Happy Collecting!!!
