This book is a 1906 First Edition of On the Spanish Main by John Masefield. The publisher is The Macmillan company of New York. There are 22 illustrations and 1 map in the 344 pages. It measures 8 15/16" tall, 6 1/8" wide and 1 3/4" deep. The outside of the book is in good condition with just some corner wear and some spine wear. It is a clean copy but must have been in a white book case and the front cover must have been against the white side of the case as one can see scratchings of the white paint where the blue cloth of the book cover met up with the white. There are some pencil written symbles written inside of the back cover. The first several pages are badly foxed as are the index pages in the back. There are corner folds at the top of the first and second pages and on the bottom of the third page. Happy Collecting!!!
