This is the 10" diameter Peach pattern flow blue plate by Johnson Brothers of England. It is a beautiful pattern with 22k gold trim outlining and hi-lighting some of the flowers but it has two large and one tiny, chips unfortunately on the front of the plate. Some one did darken them so that they would not show up very easily. Other than the chips, there are no cracks, crazing or other damage. Happy Collecting!!!!

This is a flow blue platter by the Wilkinson company which is of the Royal Staffordshire family. The pattern is 'PEKIN' which is an oriental influenced pattern as you can see. Unusual is the heavy application of solid blue in the pattern. This is an absolutely stunning platter. It measures 10 3/4" long, 7 1/2" wide and 1" deep. This is a circa 1889 Coalport, handle-less cup measuring 3" in diameter and 2 3/4" tall. There are some discolored edges caused by a too light layer of glaze, but no chips or cracks. There is a pencil point open air bubble in the glaze at the outside, top of the cup, that has become discolored as it has gathered over 115 years of dust.

The cup measures 3 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall and the saucer measures 5 5/8" in diameter and 5/8" tall. There are no chips, cracks, dings or other damage and the 22k fired-on gold trim shows no wear. This mark was used from the early 1930's to the early 1960's according to Kovel's Book on Marks, but I would date this from the early part of the used of this mark. Happy Collecting!!!!!!
