LARGE 1940's brown snake skin large bag by DEITSCH

Wonderful styling, condition, and size. This luscious chocolate brown snake skin bag is by Deitsch from the 1940s. A large piece of snake skin covers the bottom and the front panels are slightly gathered into each other. A button like closure hinges downward to release the flap. There is an adorable bow in the handle, it does not untie.

There is one tiny spot that one scale is bent, I have included a picture of it next to my finger so you can see how tiny it is. I would suggest covering it with a dark brown shoe polish. It is not a tear. The interior is black grosgrain and has no stains or tears.

A mirror and compact cover are also included.

This purse is big for a 1940s one and you could easily carry it day to day with all you items fitting nicely inside.

All of the stitching is intact, there is no discoloration of the skin, and it is not brittle. Also, there is no mold inside.
