Nice Cobalt Blue Glass Military Hat Powder Box or Pin Dish from Paden City circa 1920's. These hats were made in three styles (concentric rings/stippled brim, plain and plain with a stippled brim). This is the second type. Also these were sometimes sold with a mirror for a lid. That may be the case with this one, as it has no lid.

It has a smooth base and sides. The brim is stippled. There is one large eagle insignia in the front center, and two smaller ones on the side.

This trinket dish is 4 5/8 inches across and 2 1/4 inches at the tallest point. From tip of brim to back of lid is 5 1/4 inches long.

It is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or stains.
