This cute chick or owl creamer is bright yellow with gold gilt highlights. This pitcher is 6 inches tall and about 5 inches front to back. It holds 16 ounces of liquid.

I have often seen these identified as Shawnee. But according to a Shawnee collector's site, this is by American Pottery Company and dates to the 1950's.
