Frolicking fairies in bas-relief are striking against the matte green ground of this Jasper Ware hair receiver. There are two. They are holding floral bouquets and ribbons. The ground is a soft matte green. The figures and flowers are highlighted in white.

This heart-shaped piece is 3 7/8 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or stains.

It is marked with the numbers 3121 on the bottom. Believed to be by Schafer and Vater, Germany
