REDUCED Petite And Beautiful, Coral Cameo In Art Nouveau 14K YG Mount, Ring Sz 4 1/2

This sweet ring has the softest of coral hand carved cameo mounted in a delicate and swirling yellow gold. I have tested and weighed this ring. The weight is 4.20 grams and the gold mounting is 14K. Inside of the ring there is a slight impression of a mark that could be 14K but to my eye it says 14A. I'm sure the mark is worn and it should read 14K.

I think the dainty cameo and the swirling mounting design add a lot to the rings value. It certainly has "eye appeal". The cameo measures 10mm by 13mm and sits about 4mm off of the prongs. The swirls of the mounting help us to decide the era in which this ring was made. Because of that design I place the ring in the Art Nouveau period. Ring size: 4 1/2
