DONATED TO THE REDWOOD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL BENEFIT, FORTUNA CA Welcome to Maiden Memories! "Won't you stay for a spot of tea?" "One lump or two?" I purchased this lovely tea set some years back from an authentic, but a bit elderly, "Southern Belle" who would only have taken tea from the most proper pot. She had a Southern drawl that stuck with her like glue even though she hadn't lived in the South for more than 60 years! A little bit of an affectation, I believe.

I have her beautiful Pickard tea set here, just for you. It has been well taken care of as there is not a bit of its beautiful gilding missing and not a nick or chip or a blemish either. It has the most delicate hand painted baby pink roses. This particular mold is most graceful in its sweeping pot spout and handles. The sweet lid knobs are almost heart shaped.

The tea pot is a generous 7.5" tall, the sugar is 3.5" and the creamer is 2.75". Each piece has the pickard mark within a gold leaf on the bottom. There is a factory blemish on the inside of the sugar bowl and I have pictured it.
