This is the strangest piece of jewelry I think I have ever seen! To me it looks like a big ugly bird wearing a crown. If that is what it is, it's a great looking, ugly bird. This designer only designed costume jewelry from 1935 until he was killed in World War II in 1943. He was active as a poster artist for the War Department until his untimely death.
