In wonderful condition for a children's book of this age. It is a cute little story of only four pages, really not quite a book! The illustration on the front, and the back, is very colorful and well done but I don't know the name of the illustrator. Actually, the writer of the little book is also un-acknowledged. This book was published by Thomas Nelson and Sons, London, Edinburgh and New York. I don't know the exact publish date but by the looks of the illustrations I would say it was between 1920 and 1930. THE BLACK SPOT ON THE COVER IS IN THE SCAN. I'll try to re-scan later and add a new picture. The condition is as expected for such an old children's book. Sweet little book containing 28 full color illustrations signed 'L.L.R'. This book has been used in a school or pre-school and well loved and enjoyed by many little children. It looks to have been cut down in size and rebound. It now measures 6.25"x7.75", has green book binding tape on the spine. Published in 1974 by The Xerox Family Education Services it is a Weekly Reader Children's Book Club Edition.
