Another delicate and petite ring from my treasure chest! I only wish my fingers were small enough to wear a size 4 1/2! Isn't this the prettiest shade of coral? I love the deep salmon or flamingo shade of pink and it's so flattering to the skin. This ring has been tested and weighed. The gold mounting is 14K and the total ring weighs 2.76 grams. There is no karat mark on the ring but I can see on the shank a line where the ring has been sized so I think the gold mark was taken off through that ...

This ring either previously belonged to a VERY tiny woman or a young girl. The size is a 2 1/2 as measured on my old ring sizer. It's petite but the detail in the hand carving is just exquisite and is beautifully shown off by the gold mount. The oval mount is accented with leaves, that appear to be hand hammered, on either side of the cameo which is held in place by both a bezel and prongs.
