Suzanne by Syracuse China Bread and Butter Plate

This Suzanne Bread and Butter plate was manufactured by Syracuse China between 1949 and 1970 when the pattern was discontinued. Each piece in this Federal shape has an embossed, slightly fluted rim, trimmed on both the inner and outer edges with gold. The Suzanne pattern features a scattering of tiny flower buds in rose pink, blue, and yellow, with soft green foliage accents on a rich ivory background. Each fine quality porcelain plate measures 6 3/8 inches in diameter. Each is marked with the pink backstamp that reads: "Suzanne, Federal Shape, Syracuse China, Made in America" accented by a cartouche with stars. Both plates are in excellent condition.
