This American Homes "Melody" Coupe Soup Bowl is in ivory glaze with a pretty floral gold rim.It was manufactured by Sebring Pottery circa 1930's to early 40's, and measures 8 inches in diameter. It is about 1 1/4 inches deep, with a wide ribbed, scalloped and fluted rim. It is marked with a gold backstamp that reads: "American Homes Dinnerware, Made In USA ,6, Melody, Warranted 22 K Gold." It is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. and the decal is like new, though the back shows some beginnings of minor crazing that has not discolored.
