Items are guaranteed for authenticity and condition as stated in our description. If we have failed to describe or disclose condition or flaws on any item, we will Refund the return shipping charges as well as the original cost of item and shipping to you.
 
Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays for actual shipping & insurance on most items.

Exceptions: Our fine jewelry is shipped insured at no charge to our clients. In the unlikely event of a return, the buyer will be charged our cost for shipping.

Restocking Fee:
NO RESTOCKING FEES, provided that items are postmarked within 7 days of receipt, returned in the same condition and via the same method of shipping as received as per our Canada Customs instructions.

Please remember...YOU MUST WRITE US FOR CUSTOMS INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO RETURNING ANY ITEM! (Failure to comply with this will cause us to be charged erroneous duties on a return, and will result in a charge-back of said costs against your refund.)

Fine Jewelry items MUST be returned by Air. Shipping expenditures on returned items are the buyer's expense. Thank you.

Other Information:
ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA: Payment by any method - must be made via PayPal.

Sadly, because of the high rate of problems we've experienced, we no longer accept Money Orders from clients who are not known to us.

LAYAWAY PURCHASES: We are happy to accept layaway purchases on regular priced items over $200. A 30% ($60 minimum) deposit is required, with equal monthly payments to cover the balance, not to exceed 3 months (3 monthly payments from the date of purchase/deposit). We process layaway payments via Paypal only, on the 1st of each month, and payments are due on receipt. If this does not suit you, you must notify us in advance. Late pays, or skipped payments without prior arrangements are subject to cancellation of your order at our discretion and a non - refundable merchandise credit for future use in the amount of payment(s) already made.

If you need an extended payment period, please write to us with your proposed payment plan and we will do our best to work with you.

NO REFUNDS ON LAYAWAY PURCHASES. LAYAWAY ORDERS ARE A CONTRACT. INCOMPLETE, LATE PAYMENT CANCELLATION - OR CLIENT CANCELED ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO:

(a) Non Refundable Merchandise Credit (good for 1 year from the time issued) for the full amount including deposit you have paid towards your purchase.

OR

(b) You have the option to forfeit your deposit amount and receive a full refund for any other payments made.

TAXES: GST is charged for Canadian orders. PST & GST are applicable on items being shipped within Ontario.

Any applicable international duties or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
