Marvelous attention has been paid to the detail of this piece with polished, folded, textured and engraved gold work punctuated with a beautiful Etruscan border.
The brooch measures a very wearable 1 5/8" round and is 1/2" in depth.
Back is removable to add your own memento.
CONDITION: Excellent antique condition with an early replacement c clasp. Stickpin and t bar remain original to the piece. Some soiling to the fabric inside the memento but as this is removable it can easily be replaced with another inch of pretty fabric. Weight by scale: 8 grams. Markings: 10C. European, 19th Century. (Apologies for the camera created reflection!)
